Ragnarok: Mighty Winter Event (Early Guide)

Get ready for the Ragnarok event! This exciting new event will start on Thursday, July 10, 2025. According to the early leaks, this event will run for about six weeks and will include two different parts within the same event.

The first part is called Mighty Winter, and it will start right away on July 10. The second part is called After Daybreak, which will unlock later on July 31. Both parts will offer separate shards and their own set of rewards and challenges.

Before the event goes live, there will be an official preview on July 8 at 19:00 UTC. You can watch it to get more details and first looks at what to expect from the event.

Event Duration: July 10 – August 21, 2025 (42 Days)

Info

As with most events, the Info Chapter will feature the usual weekly quests that give you simple tasks to complete every week. These quests will help you collect some event resources and guide you through the different sections of the event.

In this chapter, you will also be able to read the general overview of the Ragnarok event, along with details about the two parts, Mighty Winter and After Daybreak.

Main Chapter

In the Main Chapter, the key activity will be the Bifrost daily challenges. You will need to complete these challenges every day to earn Mighty Winter Tokens. These tokens are the main currency for unlocking rewards in the first part of the event.

In addition to normal rewards, you can also collect Ragnarok Tokens, which will be used later in the event.

There will also be several zones that you can explore during this event. These zones are named Treasure of the World, Bifrost, Asgard, Niflheim, and Muspelheim. Each zone is likely to offer different tasks or rewards, though full details are still unknown at this time.

Rewards

The Rewards Chapter is where you can spend your Ragnarok Tokens to unlock special rewards from the Yggdrasil Rewards section. These rewards work in a milestone system.

After you claim your third reward, you will unlock Milestone 1. Milestone 2 unlocks after you claim eleven rewards, and finally, Milestone 3 unlocks after you claim every available reward in this section.

Players and Currencies

In the Mighty Winter part of the event, there will be six different types of featured players. These include the regular Ragnarok: Mighty Winter Player, the Premium version of this player, the Mighty Winter Hero and its Premium version, and two special Icon versions called Ragnarok: Mighty Winter Icon and Ragnarok: Mighty Winter Premium Icon. Each type of player will likely have different stats and special benefits within the event.

The event will also include several types of currencies. Mighty Winter Shards will be used for the first part of the event, while After Daybreak Shards will be used for the second part that starts later.

Ragnarok Tokens will be the main event currency for rewards, and there are also eight different types of Bifrost Tokens in this event. These Bifrost Tokens are colored Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet, with an additional Random token that may offer surprise benefits.

Store Packs and Exchanges

The event will feature many store packs and exchange offers. In this event, some store packs will have upgraded rewards compared to previous events. For example, the Daily Bundle that costs 3,000 gems will now offer better rewards. In the Aqua vs Inferno event, this pack gave rewards ranging from 104 to 109 OVR. However, during the Ragnarok event, this pack will be upgraded to offer rewards ranging from 105 to 111 OVR.

League Exchanges will also offering upgraded rewards. For example, some Limited Bundles from earlier events gave rewards ranging from 102 to 109 OVR. In the Ragnarok event, these bundles will be improved to offer better rewards, now ranging from 104 to 111 OVR.

Starter Player

The event will begin with a special starter player. According to the early leaks, this player is a 104 Base OVR version of Steven Gerrard with Rank 4.
