Gauntlet Mode Guide

Gauntlet Mode is a new game mode in FC Mobile 27 that puts your entire squad to the test across multiple matches. Unlike regular matches, you cannot rely on the same players throughout the run because each player has a limited number of appearances.

The mode combines squad management with different match Objectives, Traits, and modifiers. As you progress through the Gauntlet, you need to balance your lineup carefully, complete the required Objectives, and earn Stars to unlock rewards.

How Gauntlet Mode Works

Each Gauntlet consists of multiple matches with increasing difficulty. Before every match, you need to choose your lineup while keeping track of how many appearances your players have remaining.

Winning a match uses one appearance from every player who played in that match. When a player reaches zero remaining appearances, they can no longer be selected for the Gauntlet.

This means squad management is an important part of the mode. You need to decide when to use your strongest players and when to rely on other players in your squad.

Each match can also have different modifiers that affect how the game is played. These modifiers can change specific Attributes, such as passing speed, shot speed, or stamina for certain positions, or modify the rules of the match.

House Rules

Some Gauntlet matches feature House Rules that can significantly change the way you approach the match.

The available House Rules include:

• Hot Zone: Goals scored from marked areas of the pitch give extra points.
• Position Hero: Goals scored from specific positions give extra points.
• No Rules: Fouls and offsides are disabled, allowing for more direct attacking play.

Check the House Rules and match modifiers before selecting your lineup so you can build your team around the conditions of the match.

Match Objectives and Stars

Every Gauntlet match has up to three Stars tied to different Objectives.

The number of mandatory Objectives can vary between matches. Some matches have one mandatory Objective, while others have two. You must complete all mandatory Objectives to progress through the Gauntlet.

Any remaining Objectives are optional and can be completed to earn additional Stars.

Objectives can include tasks such as scoring a certain number of goals, scoring with a specific position, performing tackles or crosses, or achieving a certain goal difference.

The Stars you earn across the Gauntlet unlock tiered rewards.

If you do not complete an Objective, you can reset the match and play it again. Resetting a match refunds the player appearances used in that match, while previously earned Stars remain.

This gives you the chance to return to earlier matches and complete missed Objectives without losing your progress.

3rd Anniversary Gauntlet

The first Gauntlet after the Kick Off Gauntlet tutorial is the 3rd Anniversary Gauntlet, introduced alongside the 3rd Anniversary event.

There are 15 matches in total, with up to 45 Stars available.

You can earn rewards by collecting Stars from the 15 matches.

• 10,000 Gems
• “Absolute Cinema” Emote

Gauntlet Mode is not only about winning matches. Your player appearances are limited, so using the right players at the right time can make a big difference as you progress.

Pay attention to the Objectives and match modifiers before each match. If a match requires a goal from a defender or a LW, for example, make sure you have suitable players available before using them in earlier matches.

You can also replay matches to complete missed Objectives and earn additional Stars, so there is no need to complete every optional Objective on your first attempt.
