You can earn Activity Points by playing Division Rivals matches in all three game modes:

Tournament
Participate in updated Tournaments that shape your position on Global and Group Leaderboards. Climb the ranks to earn recognition and unlock Rewards that reflect your League’s achievements and standing!
The tournament system remains similar to the old one. While Leagues can now have up to 100 members, only a maximum of 32 members can participate in tournaments. League admins can start tournaments in different formats: 4 vs. 4, 8 vs. 8, 16 vs. 16, or 32 vs. 32.
Members can choose to automatically sign up for tournaments or opt out. However, even if you don’t select the automatic sign-up option, League admins can still manually include you in the tournaments.
Your League earns Season Points based on its performance in the Tournament:

League Tokens are also awarded to all members after each Tournament, with participating members receiving more League Tokens than non-participants.
Leaderboards
Now, this is the interesting part. The new Leagues system features two leaderboards: Group Leaderboards and Global Leaderboards. Both leaderboards rank leagues based on Season Points. The more Season Points your league has, the higher its rank.
Group Leaderboards
Rules:
- All leagues will be organized into groups, each consisting of multiple leagues, to complete for season point rankings.
- Each season is divided into several weeks. Rankings and rewards will be settled each week.
- Groups are divided by ranks and are matched only with leagues in the same rank.
- The top three in each rank advance to the next rank up, while the bottom three are demoted to the next rank down.
- At the end of the season, leagues will retain their current rank.
- If a league is inactive, it will no be grouped into the leaderboard and will be demoted to the next rank down.
- If the number of leagues down not meet the minimum number required for the leaderboards, they will not be able to enter the leaderboards for the current week, but their league rank will be retained and not demoted.
