This chapter serves as the event hub, providing shortcuts to other chapters and features. There are no objectives to complete here, as its main purpose is to help you access other parts of the event.

The Nominees

Reveal this year’s Ballon d’Or nominees by completing league-based scoring challenges. Each league has its own objectives, with more nominees revealed as you reach the required goal totals.

Use players from the target league to score goals in matches. Matches outside the Ballon d’Or event also count toward these objectives.

Day 1: Premier League

• Score 5 Goals: Reveal 1 Nominee
• Score 8 Goals: 150 Training Transfer Points
• Score 10 Goals: Reveal 1 More Nominee
• Score 15 Goals: 100 Rank Up Points
• Score 25 Goals: Reveal 3 Nominees

The Criteria

Explore the three main criteria used in Ballon d’Or voting through special matches featuring legendary winners. Each criterion highlights a different aspect of individual and team performance.

Play four matches for each criterion to earn 100 Ballon d’Or Tokens per match.

• Criteria A: Individual Brilliance features historical matches inspired by Ronaldinho’s 2005 Ballon d’Or win.
• Criteria B: Team Achievements features historical matches inspired by Fabio Cannavaro’s 2006 Ballon d’Or win.
• Criteria C: Class & Fair Play features historical matches inspired by Kaká’s 2007 Ballon d’Or win.

Reward

Spend your Ballon d’Or Tokens in the Reward section to exchange them for various rewards. Select the reward you want before confirming the exchange.

You can also exchange players obtained from this event. You can exchange regular versions of Ronaldo and Shevchenko for their Ballon d’Or versions, featuring them holding the Ballon d’Or trophy.

Other exchanges let you trade specific Ballon d’Or event players and Star Shards for higher OVR players from selected leagues and nations.
