Event Duration: October 02 – October 23, 2025 (21 Days)
The Ballon d’Or event is a side event, with a few exchanges, quests, and daily login rewards. Compared to the ongoing 2nd Anniversary event, it’s much smaller in scale.
There are no skill games or matches where you can earn Ballon d’Or currency, tokens, or players. Instead, Ballon d’Or players can be obtained through quests and Store packs. You can purchase these packs with gems, or with FC Points if you’re a pay-to-play player.
What makes this event unique is a new guaranteed system for Ballon d’Or packs. Each pack has a 2% chance of pulling a 112–113 OVR Ballon d’Or player. If luck isn’t on your side, you’ll be guaranteed one after opening 100 packs.
Whether it’s worth it or not really depends on your goals. For most F2P players, the gem pack offers don’t give enough value. However, if you’ve saved up a lot of gems and are ready to spend, you can check our pack math below to see the best way to use them.
Ballon d’Or Math
To reach the guaranteed 112–113 OVR Ballon d’Or player on the 100th pack, the cheapest way is to combine the 5-Pack Value Deal and the 10+1 Bundles. Check the math below.
- The 5-Pack Value Deal (10,000 gems) is the best value at only 2,000 gems per pack. You can buy it once every 2 days, but since the Ballon d’Or event only lasts 14 days, you can only grab it 7 times (Day 1 → Day 13). That’s 35 packs total.
- After that, you’ll need five 10+1 Bundles (30,000 gems each). Each bundle gives 11 packs, so 5 bundles = 55 packs.
- Ballon d’Or Celebration Quests give 5 free packs in the first week. It’s possible we’ll get another 5 in the second week, which would make it 10 in total.
- 35 + 55 + 10 = 100 packs total. You’ll hit the guarantee at the 100th pack (inside your 5th bundle), spending 220,000 gems in total.
- Regular packs (3,000 gems each) are the worst deal, so avoid them.
Ballon d’Or Exchanges
Four Ballon exchanges are available, including one of the best LMs right now, 112 OVR Pavel Nedvěd, and a top 10 CAM, 113 OVR Roberto Baggio. These exchanges require 106+ OVR Ballon d’Or Players.

Yeah, many users reported the same issue. I think it’s intentional, EA probably made it that way on purpose, not a glitch or bug.

I think it’s 2 weeks for regular players and 3 weeks for new players, since they can’t unlock the first Ballon d’Or Celebration Quests until they finish the 7-day missions.

The new information from a trusted leaker Madridisaafc is, Team B (Dembele, Charlton, Kaka, et) are already in the game and they can only be claimed from the chain pack right now. They will be available in the regular packs next Thursday.

Each pack, regardless of gems/FCP, has a pack number; the more expensive the pack, the higher pack number you obtain when opening the pack. Once you acquire a pack number of 100, you are guaranteed a 112-113 OVR Ballon d’Or.
That 1,000 and 1,500 FCP pack that gives +10 pack number indicates a minimum spend of 11.5K FCP for an immediate 112-113 OVR Ballon d’Or player.
For F2P users, due to pack limits, approximately 280K gems must be spent across all gem packs to obtain a guaranteed 112-113 OVR Ballon d’Or player.
