Icon Chronicles: Raúl

After releasing Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso, Fernando Torres, and Frank Lampard in the first batch of the Icon Chronicles event, EA has now released the second batch this week, featuring Raúl, Roberto Carlos, and Petr Čech.

Chapter 2: Prince of Bernabéu (1997-2002)

In the UEFA Champions League Final 2000, Real Madrid won the match 3-0 against Valencia CF. Raúl’s 75th-minute goal was the cherry on the cake following McManaman and Fernando Morientes’ earlier goals.

Chapter 3: Captain of Galácticos (2003-2009)

In 2003, Raúl was named the captain of Real Madrid, taking over from Fernando Hierro. As captain, he led the team with distinction on both and off the pitch. He helped Real Madrid win the LaLiga titles in the 2002-03 and 2006-07 seasons.
