2025 FC Advent Calendar

EA has released the 2025 FC Advent Calendar for this holiday season. This calendar has 26 rewards in total, and one reward will unlock each day. The calendar opens from Day 1 to Day 24, but it is not free like the old FIFA Mobile days.

To unlock the calendar, you must pay $9.99. After the purchase, you will get a 111+ OVR player and unlock the full calendar. Once you collect all 24 rewards, you will also get a bonus 110+ OVR player at the end.

Is It Worth Buying?

For $9.99, you are guaranteed 13 untradable high-OVR players in total, including a 111+ OVR player, multiple 106–115 OVR players, several 109+ OVR players, and two 110+ OVR players when the calendar is complete. You also get 700 Rank Up Points, 3,000 Gems, 4 million Coins, and 80 low-tier players, but these are secondary compared to the high-OVR cards.

The value of this calendar depends on your luck with the player pool. If you manage to pull top OVR players such us Ronaldo Nazario from Glorious Eras or Kenny Dalglish from Footyverse (two of the best strikers right now), the deal becomes very strong because 113+ players are usually expensive and hard to unlock through normal gameplay. But if your pulls stay around the 109–112 OVR range, the total value can drop fast. Another thing to consider is the timing of the rewards, since the calendar opens slowly across 24 days, so even after paying, you cannot collect everything at once.

In FIFA Mobile days, the holiday calendar was completely free. You only paid if you missed a login day and wanted to recover the reward. Now the whole calendar is locked behind a paywall from the start. For many players, this change may feel disappointing because it removes the fun free holiday tradition the game used to have.

If you are a spender and need multiple high OVR players for training or ranking, this calendar might be worth it. For pure F2P players, the only real downside is missing these upgrades during December, but it does not block your progress in events.
