In EA Sports FC Mobile 26, the Right Winger (RW) position is crucial for stretching defenses and creating goal opportunities. Traditionally, RWs were used to cross the ball into the box, but this playstyle is less effective now since crossing and heading have been heavily nerfed.
The current meta focuses on cutting inside and scoring through finesse shots, making pace, dribbling, and finishing the most valuable stats. Players with the Finesse Shot trait gain a noticeable edge, especially when cutting in from the right side onto their stronger foot.
Important attributes for an RW include Pace, Dribbling, Ball Control, Passing, Crossing, Shot Power, Curve, and Finishing. While all are useful, dribbling and curve are especially important for meta playstyles built around skill moves and precise finesse finishes.
The Weak Foot rating also plays a major role. Most players now prefer 5/5★ RWs or left-footed wingers to maximize their shooting angles. If you use a crossing-focused strategy, choose a right-footed winger for better delivery. But if you prefer the cut-in and finesse style, go for a left-footed RW with a strong Weak Foot and good shooting traits.

how is 112 Luis Figo? Meta card?
Tried Dembele, he is good but Messi still feels and plays better in game. Messi strength wise and quickness is really unmatched maybe the best card they have ever given Messi in this game. Bale and Dembele are more similar, to me just slightly under Messi but depends how you play. I use a 424 but dont just hammer long balls or cross spam, so Messi is a huge asset on the wing with Dinho opposite. Both can cut in to score, while also controlling and creating for the strikers. Dembele is good, but felt really weak at times.

he is good, but shot is lacking. Messi plays the same way but has a cannon strapped to either foot.
Messi is better then Bale overall, especially if you arent a loser who lets your cpu do everything. Messi feels like he cant be knocked off the ball, can just dance past defenders and rip shots. I have both, like both cards but Messi is clearly better in game. I play a 424 but im not just lobbing balls in or spam crossing. I like to use the width to create channels and find passes into scoring chances. Messi is perfect for this because he can score from anywhere and any angle, while making better runs then Bale does.

Outside of the top 10. He’s right-footed with a 4* weak foot and his stamina is quite low, those things hold him back.

Depends on your playstyle. He would be in the top 3 RWs if not for his 4★ Weak Foot, hat’s the only thing holding him back. But if it feels reliable to you, then he’s definitely worth it.

It’s already up to date. There’s no real meta RW this week. Pedro is decent with a 5★ weak foot, but he’s a bit too slow to compete with top-tier options.

Thanks for the correction, I’ve fixed it. My advice is to wait and only claim players when the event is close to ending. That way, you give yourself a chance to see if better players show up, and you also avoid wasting Shards on duplicates in case you pull the same players from packs.

Mainly because of their weak foot ratings. Dembélé has a 5★ weak foot, so it doesn’t matter if he shoots, passes, or crosses with his left or right foot, the quality stays the same. Al Owairan has a 4★ weak foot and a strong left foot, so he can cut inside and shoot or finesse without a problem. His crossing with the right foot will be slightly weaker though.
Jairzinho also has a 4★ weak foot but with a strong right foot, so when he cuts inside and shoots or finesses with his left, the quality will be lower.
I understand everyone has their own playstyle, but right now the game favors wingers who cut inside and shoot/finesse. Crossing has also been nerfed.

Yes, his physicality is a downside. Also, he’s right-footed, which players usually don’t like because you’ll have to use his weak foot when cutting inside and shooting.
