In today’s meta, Right Backs need more than just defensive strength. Speed and positioning are what set the best RBs apart, especially when facing pacey wingers in H2H or Manager Mode. Players like Kyle Walker and Hakimi are excellent examples of modern full-backs who can recover quickly, make overlapping runs, and still defend solidly.
If your playstyle leans more toward defensive stability, consider using players with high Marking, Tackling, and Interceptions, as they maintain their line and prevent gaps on the right side. For more attacking setups, prioritize RBs with high Pace, Crossing, and Stamina to join counterattacks effectively.
A good RB should be able to defend and attack when needed, helping the team stay solid at the back while still supporting forward plays.

Thuram is an absolute beast, feels like he never gets shook or stunned and physically dominates guys 1v1. I am curious if anybody has tried him at CB and how he performed there, he holds his position really well even if you carry it with he reverts right back after making the pass.
