In EA Sports FC Mobile, we can earn various rewards by completing quests, winning games, participating in events, redeeming codes, and engaging in other in-game activities. These rewards often include coins, players, and different types of in-game resources.
FC Mobile players are divided into two categories: tradeable and untradeable. Tradeable players can be bought and sold on the market, while untradable ones cannot.
If you’ve collected untradeable players, you might be wondering if there’s any way to sell or use them. In this guide, we’ll explore the available options for managing untradeable players effectively.

How Do You Sell Untradeable Players?
As mentioned earlier, untradeable players cannot be listed or sold on the market in FC Mobile. This restriction is intentional, as EA uses it to control the card supply and maintain market stability.
The only way to sell untradeable players is if EA decides to make them tradeable in a future update or event. However, this rarely happens. EA usually announces such changes in advance, so unless there’s an official announcement, your untradeable players will remain locked and untradeable.
What To Do with Untradeable Players?
While untradeable players can’t be sold on the market in EA FC Mobile, they can still be useful in several ways.
Here are a few ways you can make use of your untradable players:
Rank and Sell
*This method no longer works in FC Mobile 26, but we’ve kept it here in case it returns in a future update.
This is the best method to earn coins from untradeable players. Using the rank and sell method, you can indirectly sell untradeable players on the market.
The way to do it is by using the duplicate tradeable version of the untradeable player we have. This is how it works.
First, go to the market and buy the tradeable version of the untradeable player you already have. Then, upgrade the tradeable player by using the untradeable one as the material for Rank Up.
Once you’ve reached Rank 1, sell the player on the market. Players without ranks and at Rank 1 have a price difference. That difference (after tax deduction) can be considered as the selling price of your untradeable player.
Add Them to Your Team
If you have untradeable players with a high OVR, consider adding them to your lineup. If their gameplay suits your style, you can use them in Division Rivals modes such as H2H or Manager Mode, either as starters or substitutes.
As the game progresses, EA regularly releases new players with higher OVR ratings, making older cards less useful over time. When that happens to your untradable players, you have several options to make the most of them.
Use Them for Exchanges
In FC Mobile, new events often include Exchanges that require players meeting specific conditions such as OVR, league, nation, or club.
You can hold onto your untradable players and use them later in these exchanges if they meet the requirements. This way, you can redeem valuable rewards through the exchange system.
Additionally, you can use untradeable players in the Extra Time event to exchange them for shards or player rewards.
Use Them for Training
Another way to make use of your untradeable players is by converting them into XP to train players in your Starting 11. This helps you save coins since you won’t need to buy players from the market for training purposes.
The higher the OVR of your untradeable players, the more XP you’ll receive from them.
Completing Quests
During seasonal events in FC Mobile, there are usually daily quests such as winning a certain number of VSA or H2H matches, scoring a certain number of goals, providing a certain number of assists, and so on. These quests typically require players from certain countries, leagues, or clubs in the starting XI.
In such scenarios, your untradeable players become valuable assets if they happen to belong to the required countries, leagues, or clubs. By utilizing these players, you can effectively fulfill the quests without having to spend coins on purchasing players from the market, thereby enabling you to save your in-game currency.
Quicksell
*This method also no longer works in FC Mobile 26, but we’ve kept it here in case it returns in a future update.
If you find yourself wanting to clear your inventory and have no intention of keeping untradable players, another choice is to quicksell them. This option may be particularly relevant when dealing with bronze or silver players.
It is important to note that quickselling untradeable players will only yield 100 coins. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that you genuinely have no need for these players before opting for quicksell.
And there you have it! These are all the essential details you need to know regarding untradable players and how to optimize their utilization in EA Sports FC Mobile. Although you cannot sell untradeable players directly, there are still various ways to make use of them and benefit from their presence in your squad.
