No. In previous seasons, there was no necessity to feature them in the starting XI. When you claim an N&L player, you will get a notification that you will get their elite version in the next season.
The reality is that most people will use their N&L players for the first few weeks/months as they will be stronger than base players, once the events start that’s when you will end up melting them or using in SBCs. Happens every year.

Drogba is a N&L Player so if you claim him you will get Elite version of him in the next season. But, his prime version (120 OVR) will not carry over.

I think I’m getting something wrong with the math you posted…Is it possible to get more village points with coin packs? I mean, all I see is 4 skill games and 3 star games, 700 village points per day. Also in math it says that without coin pack, you get more points without coin packs than with those. If somebody can explain to me I’d be pleased.
Yeah, the calculation is wrong, will update it soon.
In the latest Content Update, EA has also changed Winter Energy from the previous maximum of 18 Winter Energy (refreshing hourly) to a maximum of 36 Winter Energy (refreshing every 30 minutes). It messes up the calculation.

Yeah, answers.ea.com still shows incorrect Winter Energy at 18 max and 1 per hour refresh. You can only earn 700 per day for this event playing skill games, regardless of coin packs or watching ads. I suspect you can replay the Star games if you score less than 3 stars, but I am not sure as EA does not say and I scored 3 stars on all 3 events this first day. But, if not, having ads and coin pack offers makes no sense because then not needed. I look forward to your updated math to better understand what I can earn. Thanks for doing this each time!!

This is just ridiculous, I have been trying to beat Thiago for 3 days now, and still trying, using all kinds of formations, still unsuccessful. EA needs to lower the difficulty levels. I am about to quit this game and go back to PUBG
Yep, I think the Chelsea game for Tiago Silva is ridiculously hard. I won the match with midfield hat trick but 9 dribbles instead of ten, which I cant believe as I counted at least 12, 60 attempts no Joy. This game has finally convinced me to give mobile a miss next season. Extra time should be allowed on this one.

it is doable with 451 formations and I completed it in 3 days 2 nights
haven’t counted the attempts but it took 3 frustrating days to complete(1 complete off day)!! one suggestion try to keep ronaldo as the lone CAM player . he is useful to score on field goals as well as headers via corners. if you keep two CDM then keep kolarov / carlos in that position and a good long passer in another CDM (rakitic 110 in my case with a formation of 4-2-3-1)

Dude.. u just have to be patient.. i got lucky at the 38th time!!! tried all sort of formations & succeeded with 3-5-2..Keep your best dribbling ability players in Midfield attacking 3.. ie LM, RM & CAM & some absolute monsters in the 2 CDM places to win the back quickly. I had Lainez , Voland & 105 star pass Bale in the former & Pjanic, Otamendi in the Latter & got an Hattrick with Bale!!!

Bro I just took combined 20 times or below to complete t.silva and ziyech . I used 4141 formation.with de byrune , Ronaldo, hazard in midfield and del Piero in 1 striker it was easy for me.

For dribbles, all you need to do is just do skill moves 10 times, that’s very easy.
Ah. No skill moves do not equate to a dribble requirement fulfillment. And I have to agree with the poster. The hat-trick, mid-fielder in a half with no extra time or penalty kicks is ridiculous. There just isn’t enough time to take ball from a 130 ranked opponent 4 times and score with the same mid fielder 3 times in a half. EA please revisit. A chapter isn’t much fun if it can’t be finished.
Use del piero, excellent dribble and finish, I used him as CAM in 4-3-3 attack
I find that having a line up with CAM helps to score goals with midfielder! PS. I haven’t reached Thiago Silva’s chapter yet, hence don’t know if it works well for that game.
Use 4141 combination, and if you have hazard, Ronaldo and de bryune it will be easy, but you will need to play atleast 10 to 15 matches to clear it.
Yep seems undoable . Tried all formations no joy . Slowed me right down . Anyone have any ideas on best formation to use and tactic . I’m at 151 so shouldn’t be this hard 🥺
i did it with 150 in my 38th attempt!! try 3-5-2 or 4-5-1.. have your best players with dribbling ability in the 3 attacking Midfield roles.. also have a good long passer in CDM.. win the ball.. cross it any of the wide areas.. i had volland & lainez on either side, N&L Bale in the CAM & volland actually is a very good crosser too.. so u dribble past opponents with volland in the left & cross it to Bale in around the box.. Bale to dribble past his marker & curl it.. Thats how i did it.. all the 3 goals in the same way!!!

well brother, i have just finished thiago silva.. yes it was difficult, use 4-5-1 formation so that u will have more chance of scoring goals with 2 CAMs and u can score a hat trick with one of those

For maximum rewards, I recommend focusing on one Winter Village first, and then switching to another if you still have points left.

They will… the ELITE version (we don’t know yet about the OVRs) of Fred, Mina, Courtois, Lemar and CR7 from Pre-season Rewards will carry over to the next season. Outside of those 5 players, will not carry over.

Thanks for the guide. For Star Fuel chapter, I know if you upgrade skill game 1 or 2, you get double fuel points. For VSA, it only says increase award. Do you know by much? Fuel points +1? +2? Thanks!

You can use all of them for rank up purpose. But, all the players that you have will not carry over to next season, even your main squad (starting XI).
The items that carry over to the next season are :
– Fifa Points
– Now n Later Players (Elite versions of CR7, Courtois, Fred, Mina and Lemar)
– Now n later Packs
Other than that, will be gone when the season is over.
