If you’ve played since the FIFA Mobile days, you’ll definitely recognize these legendary cards. From free beasts like Griezmann to the position-flex king Gullit, these cards defined their seasons.
Let’s take a walk down memory lane…

Season 1 – FIFA Mobile 17
Bailly (CB)
Bailly was a true defensive beast in Season 1. His aggressive tackling, great pace, and strong physicality made him the go-to CB for many players. When paired with Chedjou from Team Heroes, they formed an unforgettable center-back duo.
Getting him felt like upgrading your entire defense.

Griezmann (ST)
Griezmann was a reward for reaching FIFA Champion Division in Attack Mode. Owning this card was more than just a meta choice; it was a status symbol.
With smooth dribbling, finesse shots, and sharp movement, he became a top striker. Almost every elite squad had him up top.

Blue Star Hazard (ST, LF, CF)
One of the most memorable events of the season introduced three versions of Hazard, and you got to choose your favorite position: ST, LF, or CF. The card art was striking, and his in-game performance lived up to the hype, making him a must-have.
Whether you needed pace, dribbling, or finishing, Hazard delivered. This card became a symbol of peak S1 content.

Season 2 – FIFA Mobile 18
Zardes (Multiple Events)
Zardes wasn’t meta, but his fame came from how often EA used him in events like New Year, SBC, and Treasure Hunt. Many players joked that EA was trying too hard to promote him due to his U.S. nationality.
He quickly became a meme in the community. While nobody really wanted his cards, everyone remembers how often they showed up.

Petit (CDM)
Icons were introduced in FM18, and Petit became an instant fan-favorite at CDM. His height, aggression, and strong defensive presence made him a nightmare for attackers. He broke up plays, bullied midfielders, and was nearly impossible to get past.
His evolving card art as you upgraded him made the Icons feel truly special.

Messi (La Liga Rivalries)
This free Messi was a standout among the many versions released that season. He combined top-tier stats with easy accessibility, making him the centerpiece of many lineups. His dribbling, finesse shots, and quick turns made him dangerous even against high-level defenses.
It’s still one of the most beloved free versions of Messi to this day.

Season 3 – FIFA Mobile 19
Weghorst (ST)
Standing at 197 cm, Weghorst was built for one thing: headers. In a season where cross spamming was extremely effective, he became the king of aerial goals in H2H. Almost every team used him for this strategy, making matches feel repetitive but deadly.
EA later nerfed crossing, but Weghorst’s legacy lives on.

Season 4 – FIFA Mobile 20
Hazard (Hazard Event)
This Hazard came from his very own event, which was one of the most grind-heavy of the season. You had to build specific squads, complete SBCs, and play tons of matches to earn Hazard Points.
The grind was long, but the reward was worth it. A strong, free card with great animations. Owning him felt like a reward for your dedication.

Season 5 – FIFA Mobile 21
Gullit (ST, CF, RW, CAM, CM, CDM, CB)
For the first time in FIFA Mobile history, Gullit was released with 7 different position cards in a dedicated event. Inspired by his real-life versatility and the “Total Football” style, players could choose where to use him, from striker to center-back.
His CM version became the most popular due to its balanced stats. This event started the era of Gullit dominance across future seasons.

Season 6/7 – FIFA Mobile 22/23
Pelé (CAM, ST, CF)
Released shortly after his passing, the “Obrigado, Pelé” event honored the football legend with three free versions to choose from. Each card was powerful and meta-defining, with the ST version becoming the most used.
Even after many higher OVR cards were released, these Pele cards were still relevant in terms of performance.

Which one of these cards do you remember the most? Did we miss one of your favorites? Drop your memories in the comments!
